A CD made at home. The cover is full colour gloss digitally printed and looks stunning, the CD itself is a matt printed image, and looks less stunning, but still good.
I burn each copy, and I include a personally signed insert that is numbered, with a message of thanks for your support.
I make every effort for these CDs to look good. However consideration must be taken when purchasing, the CD Label is printed at home on an inkjet printer. I personally think this adds to the charm.

about
I first wrote this song for a band I was in during the early 00’s. The band was slowly breaking up, and rather than saying “I think we should stay together” I wrote a song that expressed that sentiment, and presented it and one of the last band practices. It didn’t work.
It’s changed considerably since then. Originally it was ¾ timing, but I was not happy with that. I also lost the original lyrics, so over time new ones have been written. They are similar (I think), as I can remember bits and pieces of the originals, but now the song is about phoning my partner and receiving no answer, and how deflating that can feel as she always grounds me.

lyrics
We work well together
You and I
I feel so content
By your side
I only get lonely
When we part
It seems so hard to take
I call you up
You let me down
It breaks my heart
I call you up
I call you hope
We have fun together
You and I
I laugh so much
I almost split my sides
I never get lonely
If we don’t part
I don’t need a break
I call you up
You let me down
It breaks my heart
I call you up
I call you hope
Everything you say
I believe you
We grow old together
You and I
I will never leave
I know why
I only get lonely
When we part
It seems so hard to take
I call you up
You let me down
It breaks my heart
I call you up
I call you hope
A hard and heavy collection of instrumental metal. I particularly like the dark guitar riffs. The sparse use of vocal samples also adds a nice dimension to the experience. A Sea Warren
I would describe this as melodic prog metal. I'm not sure this description does it justice, but it's the best I can do for such a varied metal album. A Sea Warren
Though Dreyblatt’s compositional method is largely complex, his songs have the hard-hitting simplicity of rock 'n’ roll. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 15, 2023
